The Galilean Tutor plays a prominent role within the Galilean School, supporting and guiding students, based on their aptitudes, in choosing their academic and Galilean curriculum, as well as managing their academic and professional paths. The tutor, leveraging their university experience, provides additional support and, in some cases, organizes supplementary educational meetings beyond those offered in internal courses to expand the range of opportunities available to students. The Galilean tutor can also organize seminars conducted by other professors or scholars, propose extracurricular activities such as participation in conferences, exhibitions, educational trips, field experiences, and more.
From the third year onwards, the tutor introduces students to research, assisting them in preparing papers and/or planning empirical observations. The tutor acts as an intermediary with professors for selecting theses for the third and fifth years and for possible research projects. They advise students on study abroad opportunities and support them in their initiatives during these experiences.
