The Governing Council of the Galilean School oversees the School’s management. Its members include the Director, who acts as Chair, the Rector or their delegate, the Vice-Director, the Class Coordinators, eight professors appointed by the Academic Senate, one student representative for each Class, and the Head of the Administrative Secretariat.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the supervision of the Galilean School’s activities.
The School’s Administrative Office supports the governance in managing teaching activities and all the School’s specialized processes.

Prof. Dario Braga
President of the Institute for Higher Studies, and Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies at the same university. His main research area is the preparation, characterization, and use of molecular-based solid materials. He has worked for the Royal Society of Chemistry and was a member of the International Advisory Board of Chemical Communications. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of the Institute of Bologna.
Prof. Marc Mézard
Author of over 170 publications and two high-level scientific books. Professor at the École Polytechnique, Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), and Director of the Laboratory of Theoretical Physics and Statistical Models (UMR CNRS-Paris-Sud University). Since 2012, he has been the Director of the École Normale Supérieure. His work has been recognized with awards such as the CNRS Silver Medal (1990), the Prix Ampère de l’Électricité de France from the Académie des sciences (1996), and the Humboldt Prize (2009).
Prof. Carlo Ossola
Philologist and literary critic, since 2000 he has been a professor of Modern Literature of Neolatin Europe at the Collège de France. He previously taught Italian Literature at the Universities of Geneva (1976-82), Padua (1982-88), and Turin (1988-1999). Member of the Accademia dei Lincei since 1995; member of the Scientific Council of the Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana. President of the Treccani Encyclopedia. He focuses on Italian literature, comparative literatures, and the history of ideas. He has conducted in-depth studies on the tradition of literary institutions in schools.
Prof. Pietro Reichlin
Professor of economics at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). His main areas of interest include macroeconomics, monetary economics, financial markets, and economic cycles.
