The School

History

Founded in 2004, the Galilean School of Higher Studies is an opportunity that the University of Padua offers every year to students who enrol in the first year of one of the bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree programmes offered by the University. Those who join the School will have the opportunity to further their studies in an environment characterised by lively intellectual exchange, immersed in an atmosphere where they can acquire high-level cultural knowledge and skills, obtaining, at the end of the entire cycle, a special certification issued by the University of Padua.

Teaching and tutoring

Professors

The teachers at the Galilean School are selected from among the most qualified professors at the University of Padua, drawing on ad hoc contracts with researchers and teachers from other Italian and international universities and research centres to ensure that the programme always offers excellence and is tailored to the needs of the student body.

Tutors

The Galilean Tutor is a professor at the University of Padua who plays a leading role within the Galilean School, supporting and guiding students, based on their aptitudes, in choosing their academic and Galilean curriculum and in conducting their studies and professional careers.
