Carlo Arrigo Umiltà 1938-2025

It is with immense sadness that we learned that on Friday, June 27, Prof. Carlo Arrigo Umiltà, Professor Emeritus of Neuropsychology and the first Director of the Galilean School of Advanced Studies from 2004 to 2010, passed away at the age of 87. As Director of our School, Prof. Umiltà was instrumental in determining its structure and character, both scientifically and in the human relationships established among those who join it. Even after his retirement, he always remained close to our School, participating in all its main events. The entire Galilean community remembers him with great affection and stands by his wife and children at this painful time.
